« Spectacular and fantastic service by Houcine. He responded promptly to all my messages and also assisted in planning our wine tours. We were a group of 9 and everything was flawless. I strongly recommend booking all your Bordeaux transport with him directly. »

Private wine tours in the Bordeaux vineyards
Saint-Émilion, the Médoc, Sauternes, the Graves: within an hour's drive of the city, the Bordeaux vineyards bring together some of the most celebrated appellations in the world. With a private chauffeur, you move from estate to estate with no fixed route and no designated driver. You taste, we drive.
Saint-Émilion, the benchmark
Thirty-five minutes from Bordeaux, this UNESCO-listed medieval village looks out over a vineyard of grands crus built on Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It is the most requested appellation, and often the first stop of a day in the vineyards.
Between tastings, the village itself is worth the detour: cobbled lanes, the monolithic church, and views over rows of vines stretching to the horizon.
The Médoc, home of the grands crus classés
Forty-five minutes to an hour north of Bordeaux, the Médoc lines up the names that made the region's worldwide reputation: Margaux, Pauillac, Saint-Julien, Saint-Estèphe. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates here, on gravel soils that produce wines for ageing.
It lends itself well to a full day: the estates are further apart, and the road itself, running along the Gironde, is part of the pleasure.
Sauternes, the sweet wines
About forty-five minutes south of Bordeaux, Sauternes and Barsac produce sweet wines from late-harvest Sémillon and Sauvignon grapes touched by noble rot. Château d'Yquem, the world benchmark of the style, is here.
A visit that combines easily with the Graves, on the way back to Bordeaux.
The Graves & Pessac-Léognan, on Bordeaux's doorstep
The closest appellation to the city, just 20 to 30 minutes from the centre: ideal for a half-day, or to open a programme covering several appellations. The Graves produces reds as well as dry whites, on the gravelly soils that give the area its name.
A good starting point for visitors discovering the Bordeaux vineyards without spending a whole day on the road.
